Healthy No-Bake Desserts

No-bake desserts allow you to bring sweetness to your kitchen with less hustle and bustle. Many recipes are good for you, as well, saving time and your arteries. Some of our favorite healthy recipes include the following:

Chocolate Chia Pudding

Chocolate chia pudding takes only a few minutes to pull together but requires plenty of chill time (eight hours), so it’s a good late-night creation that can sit in the fridge until breakfast, or make it after breakfast so that it’s ready after dinner! It’s made with vanilla extract, cocoa, agave nectar, chocolate chips, and its namesake: chia seeds. The latter offers nutritional benefits that include fiber, magnesium, plant-based protein, and plenty of heart-healthy elements.

Peanut Butter Cookies

These no-bake peanut butter cookies include honey, coconut, flaxseeds, chia seeds, wheat germ, rolled oats, and raisins. They only take about 50 minutes to make from start to finish. While many of the ingredients have health benefits, peanut butter, because of the quantity used, tends to pack the biggest punch. It’s full of antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, and protein. Its biggest flaw is it’s high in calories, but no matter: that’s what pickleball is for.

Banana Split Parfait

Made with bananas, walnuts, cherries, pineapple, strawberry ice cream, and chocolate chips, this banana split parfait takes about 20 minutes to create. It’s a fantastic treat for adults and kids, especially those who want their fruit to come with a side of chocolate.

Greek Yogurt Bars

These Greek yogurt bars are made with strawberries, chocolate chips, honey or maple syrup, and, of course, Greek yogurt. They’re fast and easy to throw together but require three hours of freeze time before they’re ready to be enjoyed – so start them before dinner. As a future-planning bonus, these snacks freeze well; you can store them for up to a month.

Vegan Date Brownies

Vegan date brownies rely on the sweetness and chewy texture of dates to create a dish that is both delicious and texturally satisfying. While other ingredients, such as oats, nut butter, and cocoa powder, play their role, dates hog the spotlight from both a taste perspective and a health one. Dates are filled with vitamins, minerals, and flavonoids.

No-bake desserts offer a simple solution. You don’t have to start your oven; you only have to whet your appetite.
